With this vision in mind, SEAMO has grown in popularity among schools and parents to become the most highly acclaimed Maths Olympiad competition in the region. SEAMO emphasises critical thinking skills, encouraging students to make connections between different concepts and think outside the box for success in school and the workplace.
Originating in Singapore, SEAMO is based on the 21 st Century Core Competencies set out by Singapore’s Ministry of Education (MOE).
The Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO) is a unique assessment platform that has helped more than 50,000 students across 20 countries achieve Global Recognition in the field of mathematics since 2016.
